CHT Governance

The Chaffee Housing Trust (CHT) is governed by a nine-member tri-partite Board of Directors, including residents in CHT homes, elected officials (county and city), and other residents. This ensures that the will of the community is heeded, without creating a government program, or operating as a profit driven developer. Voting membership is now available to any Chaffee County resident. The current Board of Directors and Advisory Board are developing organizational capacity (Bylaws, infrastructure, financing, property acquisition, development prospects, resident selection criteria, lease agreements, etc.).

100% of CHT board members contribute financially

to the organization on an annual basis.

All Board members are Chaffee County Residents.
